SCOT Paypal Integration

Final beta testing in the test environment was completed and the beta version was released to Scot this week.

Custom prices per region and per customer is now also available on the SCOT site. Customers have now the option to either pay direct with the Paypal gateway, use their Visa or Master credit cards for payment, request a pro-forma payment or pay directly into Scot bank account.

Surgaware IPhone application released

The Surgaware iPhone application (linked to ConsentCare and consent database) was released over the weekend and is now available in the Apple iStore for download.

Watson Shoes Label Printing

Development on the new label printing utility program for Watson shoes factory (www.watson-shoes.co.za) started recently.

Watson shoes, situated in Grootbrakriver, foundations were laid as far back as 1859 when Charles Searle, a British immigrant and resident tollkeeper of the picturesque hamlet of Great Brak River, began manufacturing traditional leather veldschoens for the pioneering travelers along the Southern Cape coast. The company has factories in Grootbrakriver, Outshoorn, Port Elizabeth as well as overseas distribution centers.

Milfos Forecasting project

The Milfos forecasting and stock control system was released earlier this week to the client for final testing before going live end of August.

The next phase (include access for farmers) and customizable forecasting formulas per product/model is due to start within the next couple of weeks.

SCOT Payment integration project

The design and development work on the new SCOT payment integration project started this week.

This new functionality allows the SCOT administrator to upload general and customer specific prices per grade and skin colors to the back office system. These prices are linked to the website where customers can pay now electronically for their orders using PayPal.

Consentcare website released

The new version of the Consentcare (www.consentcare.com) website was released earlier this week.

This latest release is in line with the launch (soon) of the iPhone Consentcare application and make provision for the automatic registration of new members as well as some major improvements to the consent form process and public disciplines and procedures available to the general public.

Milfos forecasting system

Development of phase one of the Milfos project started recently. Part of this phase is the development of a forecasting system which enables Milfos to accurately estimate (year one to five) stock levels and plan accordingly the re-order of specific stock items from Milfos’ international Head office.
The system will furthermore allow Milfos’ agents in different areas to update service records directly and to be advised when equipment at different clients needs to be replaced or serviced.

Also part of phase one is the development of a new South African corporate website that will link into the new back office system.

Consentcare project

ISCServices is finalizing the new release of the www.consentcare.net website. The ConsentCare project is a powerfull new way of managing patient consent with quick and easy access to consent forms for all areas of surgical practice.

This project (run by Dr. Martin Young) forms part of a bigger project-vision to link patients, doctors, medical practitioners, hospitals and medical service providers with each other using the latest Information technology, platforms (Internet, iPhone, TabletPC) and software solutions.

BMRE Support Manager 1.0 released

The integration of the new BMRE Support Manager 1.0 into the existing BMRE Business Suite was completed this week.

The BMRE Support Manager enables clients to submit new support requests directly out of the BMRE software along with related data files to BMRE. This new functionality enhances the BMRE’s customer experience by enabling the customer to submit a support request even faster and easier direclty to the BMRE Administrator.
