ISCServices was founded in 2009 by Cornè van der Walt and Stephan van der Merwe to provide business and software consulting services to organisations in the Garden Route (South Africa). Cornè and Stephan’s careers span back to more than 15 years ago when they both started their careers at Sanlam (www.sanlam.co.za) as bursary holders in Sanlam’s IT department in 1994. Since then they have worked in numerous companies in South Africa, the USA, India and the UK.
- Cornè van der Walt
Corne has an IT diploma, an IT degree and a MBA (Management Business administration degree) through the Business School of Stellenbosch, South Africa. He is married with 4 daughters and lives in the Garden Route.
- Stephan van der Merwe
Stephan also has an IT degree( BSc Information Technology (with honours) , University of Pretoria , South Africa), is married with 2 daughters and a son and is the technical manager of an IT firm.
- Irene van der Merwe
Irene is married to Stephan and this husband and wife team has in the past developed various small projects for small companies, churches and individuals. Irene also started her career at Sanlam in 1994 where she and Stephan met when they both worked in the IT department at Sanlam’s head office in Bellville, South Africa.

- Riaan van der Westhuizen
Riaan is the founder and MD of Huizensoft (Pty) Ltd – situated in George, South Africa – for the last 10 years. Before he founded Huizensoft, he worked for 7 years at Lerechabetse Technologies and Middelburg Municipality (Eastern Cape) gaining valuable experienced. Riaan is the system architect on all his customer’s projects and analyses and designs all projects. Projects for clients include a Timeshare Resort Management System for GRC (George) – running over 70 users remotely, an estate management system and the Nukleus – Home schooling Management System.
- Lou van Niekerk
Lou has a MBA from the Business School of Stellenbosch, is also situated in the Garden Route of South Africa and is providing Accounting, Tax and Business Management Consultancy. He is the co-founder of Business Savvy which services are mainly aimed at the small business entrepreneur who needs expert advice in general business management, financial systems, cash flow optimization, tax and planning. Business Savvy is able to offer the individual, start-up entrepreneur and small business a comprehensive package of services to meet almost every business need.
- Rudy Hamman
Rudy is a senior Software and Business consultant and founder of Pro-VisionIT, a local software consulting firm and the co-founder of M-Files Africa. M-Files Africa is an authorized distributor of the M-Files application (www.m-files.com) on the African Continent. The M-Files Africa team has significant experience delivering Document Management solutions to small, medium and large enterprises across the entire African continent. Through its partners, M-Files Africa located in Knysna South Africa has a well established footprint in Southern Africa, East Africa and parts of West Africa.
